Tea Party

Protesters around the U.S. are rallying against tax day (April 15th)
Protesters around the U.S. are rallying against tax day (April 15th) with "tea parties."
Organizers say they disagree with government spending since President Barack Obama's
administration took over. The rallies are designed to mimic the original Boston Tea Party
carried out more than 235 years ago.

The demonstrations are being held everywhere from Kentucky to South Carolina.
Large protests also are expected in California, New York and Atlanta. The tea parties
have been promoted by a conservative nonprofit advocacy group based in Washington
called FreedomWorks, led by former Republican House Majority Leader Dick Armey.
